B2B Sales Manager - Region North/West (m/f/d)

Your mission

As B2B Sales Manager, you’ll step into a role with purpose, growth, and real impact. You’ll join our B2B team, where you’ll own new-customer acquisition across North/West Germany as well as Benelux, Denmark and comparable European dealer groups, helping establish Carly Enterprise with dealer groups, dealerships, and reseller partners. Your work will span the full customer journey, from territory planning and closing new business to activation, adoption, and expansion; with the goal of making Carly Enterprise the standard diagnostic tool on every used-car lot in your territory. Your contribution will be highly trusted and visible in an environment built on clarity, ownership, transparency, and cross-cultural collaboration.

Your responsibilities

• Own new business development across North/West Germany and comparable European dealer groups, from first contact and executive-level presentations through contract signature and the first Carly scan.
• Build and execute a structured territory plan focused on relevant dealer groups across major brands such as VW Group, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and multi-brand organizations, while developing and extending an existing dealer network.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and cold outreach through executive presentations, proposals, negotiations, closing, and customer activation.
• Sell the complete Carly Enterprise portfolio across the dealer process, including buying, appraisal, reconditioning, and sales; and clearly explain each solution’s value, process, timing, and limitations.
• Develop Carly’s reseller and partner channel by identifying, signing, and enabling dealer software providers, process-management vendors, remarketing platforms, and dealer associations, including joint webinars, trainings, and events.
• Drive onboarding, adoption, and expansion of newly won customers together with Operations team, ensuring customers start using Carly quickly, stay active, expand to additional sites, and adopt new functionality.
• Keep your customers active after onboarding (on site, by video call and with occasional flights to European customers), in close aligment with our B2B Sales team. Post-sale support, invoicing and contracts are managed by our Operations team.
• Work within the agreed partner model with TÜV NORD and hand over accounts cleanly when required. 
• Maintain a reliable and transparent sales operation through accurate HubSpot management, weekly forecasting and AI-supported sales workflows. 
• Represent Carly at trade fairs, congresses and dealer events in your territory and abroad, with regular on-site visits. 
• Feed market insight back to Carly team: what dealers need, which objections come up, which features are missing. 

Your profile

• 5+ years of experience in B2B Sales, automotive retail or a comparable commercial role working with dealerships, supported by relevant commercial training (e.g. Automobilkaufmann/-frau) or a degree.
• Strong understanding of dealership processes, particularly around used-car buying, appraisal, reconditioning, workshop operations, F&I and vehicle sales.
• Established relationships within the automotive dealer market and the ability to build and expand a network across the assigned territory.
• Proven experience in new-customer acquisition, including prospecting, cold outreach, executive-level presentations, negotiations, and closing.
• Confidence explaining digital products and solutions clearly, including their practical use cases, implementation process, and limitations.
• Strong commercial ownership and structured working style, with the ability to manage a territory, pipeline, forecasts, and multiple customer opportunities independently.
• Confidence working with CRM systems, ideally HubSpot or Salesforce, and openness to using AI-supported sales workflows.
• Experience selling software or digital services to dealerships.
• Experience with diagnostic solutions, OBD products, or remarketing tools is a strong plus.
• Experience developing reseller networks, software partnerships, or external sales channels is beneficial.
• Class B driving licence and willingness to travel throughout the territory, to Munich, and occasionally to European customers.
• German at native or C2 level and confident business English for day-to-day collaboration and negotiations.
